The Fourth Meters Film Festival hosted by the Bristol Valley Theater culminated on May 25, 2018 at Naples, NY.
Karin Bowersock: The audience voted on a favorite, and “Schirkoa” was the first choice, with “A Splendid Affair”, “In One Drag”, “Albedo Absolut” and “The Importance of Sex Education” tied for second place.
The film festival included eight nominations that fought very closely on various aspects of film making. Here is the list of winners:

The second Meters Film Festival ended on September, 10 in Naples, NY. It was held at the Bristol Valley Theater (official website) managed by its creative director Karin Bowersock.
Karin Bowersock delivered an opening speech, and then followed the showing of the films featured in the competition programme.
«97%» film by BEN BRAND was highly appreciated by the audience. As a result, the film was ranked #1 in the rating of films featured in the festival. Second and third places were taken by “Nelly” by Chris Raiber and “Letter to God” by Maria Ibrahimova. We are happy to have worked with all filmmakers and grateful for their high quality creative works. Your films really trigger emotions and make people think!

The Meters International Film Festival, during which movie screening has been held, is over. It took place in Naples, New York at the Bristol Valley Theater www.bvtnaples.org on March 25, 2016 and featured movies selected for showing. We started receiving applications in 2015. It was the first time the festival was held.
We would like to express our gratitude to the creative director Karin Bowersock, for professional organization of the event, and to the Bristol Valley Theater for providing a place for screening.
